Surgical Tech Educator Shines

I was curious if you have some sort of way to perhaps recognize an outstanding Surgical Technology Instructor?

Sandra Namio, of Mohave Community College, in Lake Havasu City, AZ is our instructor, and is an active Certified Surgical Tech/Certified First Assistant.

She is so passionate about her career, and is going above and beyond the call of duty to make each and every one of her students "shine" when we walk into the OR.

I knew it was a good opportunity to be taught by someone who is active in the particular career that I wanted to be trained in, but this woman is a gold mine.

Her lab assistant, Josh Roach is also top notch!

He is actually one of her first graduates, of about 5 years ago.

Now, I have taken many courses over the years, and have changed professions a few times, but this is the first time EVER, that I have had someone who makes sure you know and understand your duties and professions, and walks, talks and breathes an amazing surgical conscience.

I just wanted to let the world know that she is out here, and will be the best opportunity to learn this wonderful profession, the right way!

She isn't a push over, so all of those willing to work, know that you will be earning your certificate the good old fashioned way! Lots of hard, but rewarding work!

Anyway, if you have a special section for acknowledging outstanding teachers, please consider Sandra Namio... of course, you can enter her nomination anonymously... I do not need any brownie points... I am just a grateful student.

Thanks,
LC
