Guest Speaker - Mr. Robert Prince

Robert Prince, author of the best selling "Surgical Tech Success Handbook" will be guest speaking at Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, North Carolina on June 20, 2006. He will present to the Surgical Technology fall class for 2006, which includes 36 students who have currently been accepted to start the program in August-06, the students on the alternate list, and faculty members of GTCC.

Mr. Prince will be speaking about the qualities that make a student a success in the Surgical Technology field after graduation, the career field of Surgical Technology, Surgical Tech Career Opportunities, How To Advance A Surgical Tech Career and his personal experience in and around the World of Surgery.

If you are thinking about becoming a Surgical Tech, are a new Surgical Tech Student, Recent Graduate, or an experienced Surgical Tech, you do not want to miss this event.

During the orientation session, the students will receive information about the
Surgical Technologist profession in general, the professional organizations, and GTCC program specific information.
