Last Friday, I had to have surgery on my first metatarsal to have a bone realigned.

I ended up with a screw and a pin as permanent implants.

Needless to say, recovering from a surgery such as this has been challenging, esp since many of you who know me, know that I am not one to sit around on the couch with my foot elevated for an entire week. (I think that was worse than all of the pain...)

Anyway, if you have tried to contact me and I have not replied, I will get to your email.

We literally receive hundres of emails and I try to personally respond to as many as possible.

So, as I stated, I have not forgotten about you and you will be hearing from me soon.

Phew, it's a real eye opener to be a part of surgery from the "other side".
