~Student's Attiude...~

Attitudes, attitudes, attitudes....

Seems like a word we hear quite often in the Surgical World~

But don't let the word "attitude" give you the feeling that it is always a negative word.

We all know that when someone says "Oh, he/she has an attitude", it is usually something you might want to stay away from.

HOWEVER, I recently received an email from a student asking me a general question about interning in an outpatient surgery center VS. a hospital...

Well, this particular student had quite an attitude!

Yep, this student's attitude should wear off on anybody reading this newsletter.

Let me quote his exact words about choosing the Surgical Technology profession:

"I really feel its my "calling" like its going to be more a lifestyle than career..."

It is so refreshing to get an email with a general question and a short comment that just makes my day.

You see, this is the kind of person we can all learn something from.

When you see your chosen profession, career, or job as "A CALLING" then your entire world changes.

Having such an optimistic attitude will bare many future rewards that this person may not even be aware of yet.
